Tickets are non-transferable and non-endorsable, and are subject to the following terms and conditions (which are subject to change): REPORTING TIME:
Bus opens for check-in 2 1/2 hours before scheduled departure time. Passengers must check-in 3 hours before Bus departure. Check-in counters close 60 min before bus departure for international bus.
CARRY-ON BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE:
LIMIT: 1 Carry-On bag per passenger / SIZE LIMIT: L17in x W15in x H4in (L+W+H=36 inches) / WEIGHT LIMIT: Max weight 7 kg / 15 lb
CHECKED-BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE:
Standard: 1 checked bag for passenger.
WEIGHT LIMIT: Max weight 20 kg BAG SIZE LIMIT: Max size per bag: L15+8H+20W inches NOTE: BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE POLICY STRICTLY ENFORCED
EXCESS BAGGAGE FEES:
Excess Luggage Fee must be in Kg. Excess Luggage Fee must be charged in Kg.
OVERSIZED BAG POLICY:
Oversized bags will be charged an additional fee of Rs.5000/-
LOST/DAMAGED BAG COMPENSATION:
MMaximum liability for missing baggage is Rs.5000.00 per bag on international bus
TICKET CHANGES:
Passengers pay the change fee of the ticket, PLUS the difference in the fare. Same fare is not guaranteed. Fees apply for each passenger. Change Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
TICKET REFUNDS:
Passengers pay the refund fee indicated on the ticket display. For refunds, NIC/Passport must be provided for all passengers.
TICKET EXPIRATION:
Ticket expires along with departure. Not after one month. Expired tickets have no value, cannot be refunded, cancelled or changed.
LIMITED LIABILITY:
The maximum bus company liability in the event of denied boarding, delayed or cancelled bus is limited to the 5% price paid for the ticket.
FOR CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PURCHASES - VERIFICATION REQUIRED:
The passenger(s) will NOT be allowed to travel, until the credit/debit card has been verified by NSTN. The card holder must present (in person) the Credit/Debit Card and Photo ID (NIC or passport) of the country from which the credit/debit is issued. The card holder name must appear on the credit/debit card for the Verification purposes. This can be done at the terminal at the time of Check-In, -or- at any NSTN sales office prior to travel.
BUS DEPARTURE POLICY:
Bus Departure can be cancelled or delayed without prior Notice. *Effective 1st Nov, 2018
